Detonator Yellow 2010 Dodge Challenger
Coming in behind B5 Blue and Hemi Orange as the latest hi-impact color on the popular Dodge will be Detonator Yellow.
Word from inside Chrysler is that ordering will be cut off on October 2nd and this will be the rarest color of all so far. Hemi Orange was so popular back in 2008, that they decided to offer it on the 2009’s but that color has now been canceled after it was replaced by B5 Blue, and now Yellow.
Don’t like yellow? No problem, because next up will be Plum Crazy Purple in a few months and those cars will be built for spring 2010 delivery. What comes after that color is run though? I think it will be a safe bet to go with lime green and even Go Mango.

From the sounds of it, Chrysler is still more interested in selling “exclusivity” rather than cars.
Challengers are exclusive from the dig. They only see the need to build 1/3 the amount compared to the Mustang and Camaro. 35000/yr VS 100K.
This can all change with the Fiat report due in November thiough..
Not so much as exclusive as the demand is not there to sell 8,000 per month like the mustang and what is projected for the camaro. I do love the car but have to admit there have been probably more enthusiasts over the years for the mustang and the camaro (when in production) as compared to the dodge.
